Different colors appear when the light hits the surface of these glass earrings. Dichroic (pronounced Di-Kro-ik), is defined as the property of having more than one color when viewed at different angles. To get this effect, thin layers of metallic oxides are deposited on the surface of the glass in a high temperature vacuum furnace. Depending on the thickness of the deposits, different colors appear when the light hits the surface of the glass. Some of the colors are reflected while others are absorbed, creating this unique and stunning set of earrings. Made by US jewelry craftsman Everett Design and packaged in a black jewelry box.
