Sissinghurst Castle was, as castles go, a rather small one with a fairytale tower where Vita's place still resides. Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicholson, purchased Sissinghurst in a seriously decayed state. It eventually became the joint creation of Harold and Vita, and is now owed by The National Trust. In their honor, two beautiful little benches for the fairies have been made to remember them by.
